On June 12th, The 2025 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) came to a perfect end in Pazhou. The exhibition gathered over 2000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions around the world to jointly depict the future of lighting technology. The LEP (microwave plasma) artificial solar light source exhibited by CASM is the only disruptive lighting technology at the exhibition, and also the world's first continuous full spectrum light source, which has attracted widespread attention for its "nourishing life light" characteristics.
LEP is the artificial light source closest to the solar spectrum, with emission principles and lighting quality effects similar to sunlight. It covers the wavelength range of 280-2500nm, including ultraviolet, visible, and infrared light, and is the world's first continuous full spectrum light source. In this exhibition,CASM showcased the latest LEP light source, which has AAA level spectral matching, irradiation stability, and uniformity with the sun. The irradiation power density is>1000W/m2, the center illumination is as high as 120000 Lux, the light energy is 35714 lm, the color rendering index is Ra97, the lifespan is up to 50000 hours, and the color temperature remains constant. Its visible light accounts for 50% (red and blue light account for 68% of visible light), and invisible light accounts for 50%, which is highly consistent with the solar spectrum. It has health benefits such as enhancing immunity, sterilizing and disinfecting, and promoting the growth of animals and plants, opening up new possibilities for the high-end lighting field.
